Common mistakes
- Claiming documents you do not have. In Italy they are checked before you start, and the lie surfaces at once.
- Saying “sì, sì” when you have not understood. The employer takes it as agreement.
- Agreeing without asking the pay and the hours. Both are ordinary first-call questions.
